The Picnic Basket Restaurant is Lake Country’s answer to hungry.

We’ve been filling the bellies of Waukesha County locals since 1987 with our delicious handcrafted subs, sandwiches, wraps, pizzas, salads, desserts and more.

We are proud to serve our customers the freshest of ingredients. We bake our own breads daily, hand carve our own meats, purchase cheese from a local Wisconsin dairy, and use sliced fresh vegetables in-house.

You can find us in Nashotah, conveniently located on the corner of Hwy. 16 and C (Lakeland Drive). Stop by and see us. Or, if you’re too busy, give us a call and we’ll happily deliver the food to you.

If you need some help pulling together a meal for a larger group, check out our catering menu. We’ll serve groups from six to six hundred…and deliver it with a smile. We can help you determine quantities needed per person and gladly provide you with all the serving ware you need.

Up early in the morning? Come in and enjoy one of our eye-opening breakfast sandwiches and a cup of slow-roasted coffee. Heck, we might even let you help us bake the bread.  We start serving our entire menu at 8 am every day.

Our normal delivery service runs a three-mile radius from our restaurant. Minimum order $25. A $3 delivery charge is added.
